OK, I confess I watched Micheal Jacksons memorial at work; It was playing in the background while I worked on a spreadsheet, I mainly listened to it but would take a peek every so often. I found Brooke Shields memories very touching and I loved the quote she gave from the Little Prince that reminded her of Michael;
“What moves me so deeply, about this little prince who is sleeping here, is his loyalty to a flower--the image of a rose that shines through his whole being like the flame of a lamp, even when he is asleep . . ." And I felt him to be more fragile still. I felt the need of protecting him, as if he himself were a flame that might be extinguished by a little puff of wind” . . .
I found myself using lots of kleenex through out the memorial but completely lost it at the end when Michael's daughter Paris Katherine spoke.
